Welcome to A&D Fresh Snail Farms — a small farm with a big passion for Giant African Land Snails.

Our journey didn’t begin with a business plan or a grand vision. It began in our own backyard, with a simple experiment driven by curiosity, a love for nature, and a desire to explore sustainable farming in a meaningful way. What started as a handful of snails and a homemade enclosure quickly grew into something much more: a familyrun microfarm built on care, patience, and respect for these remarkable creatures.

As we learned, snails don’t rush — and neither do we. Every snail on our farm is raised by hand, nurtured from hatchling to adulthood with close attention and genuine care. We don’t believe in shortcuts or mass production. Instead, we focus on quality, health, and ethical practices that put the wellbeing of our snails first. Clean habitats, balanced diets, and gentle handling are at the heart of everything we do.

Over time, our little backyard project transformed into a trusted source for topquality Giant African Land Snails. But more importantly, it became a place where people could discover the beauty of slow, sustainable farming and the surprising charm of these gentle giants. Today, A&D Fresh Snail Farms remains proudly small, proudly handson, and proudly familyrun. We’re here to share our passion, support new keepers, and provide healthy, ethically raised snails to homes, classrooms, and hobbyists across the UK.
